The Land Forces joined in acts of condemnation and solidarity holding a minute of silence in the Army General Headquarters for the victims of yesterdays Terrorist Attack in the Las Ramblas Avenue in Barcelona.

Representatives from different Posts and Divisions of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, 1st "Inmemorial del Rey" Regiment and civilian personnel, led by the Chief of Command of Army Personnel, Teodoro Baños, gathered in the Buenavista Palace gardens alongside the Statue of Bravery at 12:00 midday.  It was there that they held a minute of silence displaying their repudiation of the attacks that cost the lives of 13 people and left dozens injured.

In all Army Bases, as well in all Official Buildings and Army Ships, the Flag is hung at half mast as three days of official mourning has been decreed by the National Government.
