His Majesty the King Philip II has made, the 4th of April, his first visit to "El Copero" base, in Dos Hermanas (Seville), after fifteen years and a half from his father's first visit, Emeritus King Juan Carlos I.

Sr. Philip went by helicopter to the base, where he was honoured by a company belonging to the 32nd Electronic War Regiment (REW). There, he showed a lot of interest in how the different distinguished units work and the labor that they perform everyday. However, the visit was focused on the knowledge about a specialized and leading unit from that base, the 32nd REW.

Philip VI was accompanied by the chief of General Staff of the Spanish Army, General Francisco J., Varela Salas; the chief of the Head of the Information Systems, Telecommunication and Technical Assistance, general Joaquín Salas Alcalde; and by the colonel chief of the Electronic War Regiment, Manuel Sasot, who went into detail with the labor performed by this unit in Seville, which is complemented by the tasks carried out by the 31st REW in Madrid.

His Majesty finished the visit by signing the Honour Book of the Unit.
