Ceremony to mark the 75th anniversary of the post of ''cabo primero''

The “Príncipe” base in Paracuellos del Jarama (Madrid), headquarters of the Parachute Brigade, will be the venue for a ceremony to mark the 75th anniversary of the creation of the post of “cabo primero” (roughly equivalent to “corporal”).
The ceremony will begin at 9:30. It is intended as a show of appreciation to those who hold or have ever held that post and as an acknowledgement of their importance within the Armed Forces. Defence minister Pedro Morenés is expected to attend.
