Drawn from the Mountain Light Infantry Brigade with a Squadron from the Cavalry Brigade"Castillejos" it was deployed in the western zone between 18th December 1997 and 20th April 1998. Including the Advance Logistic Echelon, total personnel were 1,250.

Maintaining previous brigades' deployment, its most outstanding undertakings were related to resettlement security in the Mostar-Stolac-Caplijna triangle and starting a plan to harvest weapons in the hands of private citizens.
