OSCE

At the end of 1998 and motivated by the crisis that arose in the Yugoslavian province of Kosovo, this mission is activated, incorporating a senior Officer in Dec. '98, and since then Spanish presence has been increasing. 

In total five Army officers, in addition to members of the other Armed Force branches, have formed part of the mission that finalises in May 1999.

In the short term an increase in the number of participants is foreseeable.
