The Cargo Section of the Paratrooper Launch Company from the Logistics Paratrooper Group, belonging to the 6th Brigade 'Almogávares' of Paratroopers, supported the German Army in airlaunchings from the new Airbus A-400M "Atlas", from the 28th to the 30th of June and the 3rd to the 5th of July.

The Cargo Section was responsible for the loading of the aircraft and the gathering of material from the launching zone of "Cubillo de Uceda".  In order to carry out this last task, they counted on the support from the Military Emergency Unit, which provided a crane and various transport vehicles.

All of these launch programs are led by the Logistic Centre of Weaponry and Experimentation (CLAEX) of the Air Force, which as well provided a CASA C-101 "Aviojet" to record the images from each launch.

Other European countries which form a part of the Airbus A-400M project have as well solicitated the use of the launching zone "Cubillo de Uceda" and the Air Base of Torrejón de Ardoz for the ability to launch cargo in their facilities, air space authorization, meteorological conditions, and the proximity between the launch zone and the air base, difficult to replicate in the rest of Europe.

As an exercise combined with foreign troops, the Cargo Section had the opportunity to work with other materiales and methods of cargo production and the folding of parachutes, different from those used in our country.
