First Corporal Lema has been proclaimed Spanish Rifle Champion at F-Class 900 yards longer range shooting competition, which took place at Parga (Lugo) the 8th and 9th of September.

The event consisted on 66 shots divided into three blocks of 22 shots, scoring just 20 shots per block. It is performed over targets placed at 822 metres. The targets have 1,2 metres of diameter and they are divided into concentric score areas between 0 and 5 scores. Reaching 5 scores is the maximum punctuation, consisting of nine inchs diameter (20 centimetres) with a white circle in order to dissolve possible ties. In each block, shooters had 22 minutes for the realization of 22 shots.

In this occasion, First Corporal Lema used a 300 WSM calibre Custom rifle previously delivered, designed in Spain and made in England. The actual Spanish champion, for the distance previously mentioned, used ammunition made by himself, under permission of the Civil Guard Central Intervention of Weapons and Explosives (ICAE in Spanish) for recharging metallic ammunition.

First Corporal Lema usually trains at 7th Infantry Brigade "Galicia" and, nowadays, he is in the 13th position at the European ranking. The next challenge that he will have to overcome is the European F-Class Competition that will take place from the 25th of September until the 2nd of October at Bisley (United Kingdom). There, the soldier will represent Spain and he will be Captain of the National Shooting Team.
