The Ministry of Defence cooperates in the first edition of the International Defence Exhibition in Spain

The first edition of the International Defence Exhibition in Spain will be held from 29th to 31st May under the motto 'Techonologies for a safer society'. The Ministry of Defence has cooperated, in order to show an integral vision of the progress made in this field in Europe. Two business associations from the Security and Defence field, namely the Association of Contractors with Public Administrations (AESMIDE) and the Spanish Association for Defence, Security and Space Technology (TEDAE) will also take part in the organisation of this event.

This biennial exhibition will allow Spain to place itself at the level of the rest of countries of its environment in the organisation of this kind of events. Additionally, it will be an opportunity to increase the internationalisation of the Spanish industry and reinforce the Defence sector, since it will facilitate the development of the Common Defence Policy at a European level.

The aim of this meeting is for companies of this sector to interact and promote the creation of an international showcase of the Spanish Army during these days, although other countries are also allowed to participate. That is why cooperation between the Armed Forces and the Army, together with other organisations and public entities, will be very present
