The Army’s 16th conference for war correspondents begins.

On the 23rd of September the Army began the 16th edition of the Conference for War Correspondents, which was organised by the Communications Department and the School of War and was attended by 25 students from different national media organisations.

The objective of the conference is to share the experience of the Army in foreign operations with communications professionals. They will all have the opportunity to experience the work of a war correspondent through a combination of theory and practice in which the participants train in exercises involving driving, helicopter transport, or tactical exercises with a unit from the 31st ‘Asturias’ Regiment from the XII ‘Guadarrama’ Brigade.

The training also includes preventative health care and basic life support, self-protection measures, learning about equipment used in operations or vehicle maintenance, as well as many other activities.
