The members of the next contingent which the 11th ‘Extremadura’ Brigade will deploy to Iraq finalize their preparations in aspects such as health training and logistical tasks.

Specifically, in the last week of September, 25 of them completed the Army’s Health Training Activity – a total of 28 hours of theoretical and practical training – in order to learn about health assistance and evacuation in zones of operation, where health care under fire and tactical evacuations may be required.

For its part, the 11th Logistical Group was evaluated for the mission on the 25th of September. For this, its teams had to solve a series of logistical tasks such as handling loads with a crane or recovering a vehicle and transporting it to a higher level.

With all of this training, the contingent which will go to Iraq is closer than ever to completing the specific preparations and being ready to start a new mission in the Middle Eastern country.
