Tactical Support for Military Actions, the use of Aerial means or the influence of the Desert environment where the combatant and the materials were some of the aspects addressed in the Desert Combat Seminar organized by the Light Infantry Brigade 'Rey Alfonso XIII' at the "Álvarez de Sotomayor' base, from the 10th to the 14th of July in Viator (Almería).

They also touched on different points such as the adequate designation of launching and landing zones for helicopters, terrain adaptation and preparation as well as sanitary protection and desert survival. 

The seminars, given by an Individual Instructor belonging to the Battalion "Colón" of the Regiment "Don Juan de Austria", 3rd in the Legion, were focused on Section Chiefs and Squad Chiefs in the Legion Brigade and the rest of the "Castillejos" Division Brigades. Following the seminars, the participants will be able to train their personnel in their own units with regards to this aspect of combat.
