The JEME visits the Tecnobit Factory in Valdepeñas

The Chief of General Staff of the Spanish Army, general Francisco J. Varela Salas, has visited, the 1st of March, Tecnobit's facilities, industrial division of the Oeasía Group, in Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real), where he was welcome by the Executive President of the Oesía Group, Luis Furnells.

The chief of the Spanish Army's Command of Logistic Support, Lieutenant General Ramón Pardo de Santayana, accompanied the JEME in this visit. In his arrival, they had a meeting in which the general director of Technobit, Emilio Varela, and various managers of the company also were involved. In this meeting they could know in detail the last developments and capacities of this technological company. They were also informed about the results registered by the company, which has reached in 2017 its historical record of sales, adding up to 71,01 millions of Euros, an increase of a 29% in the amount of the sales corresponding to last year, practically the double of the sales registered in 2013 and 2014.

After this meeting, the delegation visited the factory, where they attended to the working processes and they tested some of the last developments of the company, vision computing (displays of aerial navegation), safe communications, tactical communications and simulation, among others.
