The Soldier's Decalogue

1- I will always comply with the mission assigned.

2- I will never accept defeat.

3- I will never abandon a partner in need.

4- I will take the initiative and never be inactive.

5- I will be disciplined and always trust my superiors.

6- I will perform my duties accurately.

7- I will reach an adequate physical and moral preparation.

8- I will keep my weapons and equipment in perfect condition.

9- My squad is the best in the company, my company is the best in the regiment,

    my regiment is the best in the Army.

10- I am a Spanish soldier and I am proud of serving my country.
