NORDENFELT GUN 57mm MK. II

The oldest piece in the funds of the Armoured Vehicles Museum.

And why would this naval artillery piece be in an Army museum? Because during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), it was mounted on an armoured train.

ARELLANO 40mm INFANTRY SUPPORT GUN (SPAIN)

100% Spanish-made, the Arellano infantry support gun was designed as a weapon to provide direct support to infantry in the 1930s.

Several models were initially planned: Direct support/escort; antitank (with a longer barrel); and vehicle-mounted (for Trubia tanks). However, only the former was ever manufactured.

Its most distinctive characteristic is its wheel steering system, which provides protection to its crew.
