OTHER COLLECTIONS LINKED TO THE ARMOURED UNITS

As well as the armoured vehicles exhibition, MUMA also houses other collections which illustrate the daily life of the crews of those vehicles. They include uniforms, personal weapons and tools, as well as scale models. A room in the museum is devoted to those objects.

UNIFORMS

The uniforms worn by armoured vehicles crews have changed over years just as much as the vehicles themselves: from the overalls and leather jackets used during the Morocco campaigns and the Spanish Civil War (1936-39) to the current flame-resistant clothing, not to mention the transformation of berets, helmets and other headgear. Visitors can follow their evolution through the display cases and mannequins
Our “Guide of uniforms on display at MUMA” will soon be available to download from this website.

WEAPONS AND MUNITIONS

The armoured vehicle is probably the most powerful weapon to be found on a modern battlefield, but armoured units are also equipped with the light and collective weapons the Spanish Army has at its disposal.
Our “Guide of weapons on display at MUMA” will soon be available to download from this website.
