Foreign exchanges

The Academia General Militar collaborates with other Military Academies of Europe, America and Asia with different modalities:

• Spanish cadets abroad:
  • International semester: At West Point (USA) and Saint-Cyr (France), studying international syllabus.
  • Collaborations: From one week up to fifteen days, attending conferences, seminars, symposiums and sports competitions. These activities are currently carried out in Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia and South Korea.
• Foreign cadets at the AGM:
  • Students from the US, France and Colombia attend academic semesters. They are usually students of the last courses (3rd or 4th year).
  • Students from Peru, Jordan, Thailand and South Korea attend complete courses in two modalities: access without degree and access with a degree. They are 1st and 2nd year cadets.

Other countries visited by our teachers and cadets are: Brazil, Egypt, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Tunisia and United Arab Emirates.
