The chief of the Italian Army visits the General Staff of the Spanish Army

Lieutenant General Salvatore Farina, chief of the General Staff of the Italian Army, has visited the General Staff of the Spanish Army, in Buenavista Palace (Madrid), during the 10th and 11th of April.

In his arrival, after the honours, Lieutenant General Farina was welcomed by the JEME, general of the Spanish Army Francisco Javier Varela Salas. Later, after signing the Honour Book, the Italian JEME moved to the Tracking Centre of the Spanish Army, inside the Staff, where he attended a videoconference with the 1st "Aragón" Brigade (Zaragoza).

Once he finished his visit to the General Staff of the Spanish Army, Lieutenant General Farina went to "Coronel Maté" Base, in Colmenar el Viejo (Madrid), where the chief of the Airmobile Forces of the Spanish Army (FAMET in Spanish) gave a conference about the unit of his command. Afterwards, he attended static and dynamic exhibitions of the materiel.
