The members of the Military Juridical Corp, grouped into the Upper Officer Scale, have as missions those that, according to juridical legislation, correspond to them within military jurisdiction and those of juridical council within the scope of the Defence Ministry and the autonomous organisms attached to the same.
In carrying out their missions, they will exercise the function of command in centres or organisms. Also, the functions of administration and logistics, of command support, technical-optional and educational functions related with these missions.
The employments of the Military Juridical Corp range from lieutenant to major general. From lieutenant to lieutenant colonel they have the designation of the corresponding employment followed by the term "auditor", and those of brigadier general and major general, those of "general auditor" and "lawyer advisor" respectively.
To be admitted to the Military Juridical Corp, it is necessary to have a university degree in Law.
