The chief of the French Army's Land Force visits the base of its homonymous in Seville and of the Spanish Legion's Brigade in Almeria

Lieutenant general Juan Gómez de Salazar, chief of the Land Force, has welcome the chief of the Land Force of the French Army, lieutenant general Patrick Alabergere, the 8th of March, at the general staff of the Land Force (the General Captaincy's building of Seville).

The visit of the chief of the French Army's Land Force consisted of getting to know the Spanish Army's composition and, specially, the Land Force's structure, depending most of the combat and supporting units of the Spanish Army on it.

The next day, lieutenant general Alabergere, accompanied by lieutenant general Gómez de Salazar, visited the base "Álvarez de Sotomayor", where the 2nd Brigade of the Spanish Legion "Alfonso XIII" is placed, in Viator (Almería).

There, the French Officer was welcome by the chief of the Brigade, general Martín Cabrero, and afterwards he was offered with an exhibition of the unit, as well as a static demonstration of material. Next, the chief of the French Land Force moved to the Shooting and Manoeuvres Field "Álvarez de Sotomayor", where he attended to a tactical performance of the Spanish Legion's Brigade.
