The Army’s needs regarding the fight against Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems and the solutions which the academic and industrial sector offer this field were presented in a new Force 35 workshop which was held in the ‘Conde de Gazola’ base (in Ferral del Bernesga, León), on the 11th of December. The chief of the Army’s Logistical Support Command, Lieutenant General Ramón Pardo de Santayana was in attendance.

The Institution presented the demands and counter-Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (C-RPAS) technological requirements of Force 35 and the ‘Condor’ programme which addresses it. For their part, the companies and universities presented their technological capacities and proposals concerning C-RPAS designed for small units (portable) and for use at the level of group/subgroup combat (fixed). Furthermore, they held a static exhibition of their principal C-RPAS systems.

This workshop dedicated to C-RPAS systems is the seventh in a series which looks to align Force 35’s needs with existing and potential solutions provided by companies, universities and technological associations.
