Welcome to the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps - Spain Headquarters (HQ NRDC-ESP) website. This Headquarters is one of the nine Graduated Readiness Forces (Land) HQs that make up the NATO Force Structure. 

The HQ NRDC-ESP is the international part of the Spanish High Readiness Land Military Staff HQ (CGTAD in Spanish), and it represents the Spain’s main commitment to NATO.

With Spain as framework nation, currently eleven nations are part of the HQ: France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States and Spain. This multinational environment provided by its almost four hundred military personnel from different nations is the key factor that enables this Headquarters to successfully carry out all its assigned missions as tasks.

Exercise Trident Jackal 2019: kick-off for the deployment of the HQ NRDC-ESP in Menorca Island

The Support Battalion of the NATO Headquarters Rapid Deployable Corps Spain (HQ NRDC-ESP) has started the deployment of its means in Menorca Island, where exercise Trident Jackal 19 (TRJA19) will be carried out during September and October.

Admiral Antonio Silva Ribeiro, Portuguese Chief of Defence, has visited the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Spain Headquarters (HQ NRDC-ESP its acronym) in Bétera (Spain) this morning.
