The 'Toxic aggressor 22' CBRN exercise is successfully completed

Personnel of the "Valencia" nº1 CBRN Defence Regiment and CBRN personnel with qualification of the Pontoneer and Engineering Specialities Regiment nº12, of the 6th "Almogávares" Paratrooper Brigade and of the CBRN Military Defence School took part, between October 15th and 22nd, in the “Toxic Agressor 22” annual exercise, which took place at the Training Center with CBRN Real Agents of Krusevac (Serbia).

The military personnel rotated in recognition functions, sample collection and decontamination in environments with presence of real chemical agents, vesicants and neurotoxicants.

The exercise, which is framed within the bilateral activities with the Serbian Republic, has served to improve the training of personnel and of the basic recognition equipment, sample collection and decontamination, as well as to verify the correct operation of the personal protective equipment, detection equipment, identification equipment and sample collection equipment.

Together with the “Precise Response” annual exercise of Canada, also with CBRN real agents and oriented to the Sample Collection Forensic Teams, it is an essential practice to maintain the level of recruitment of the CBRN national capacities.
