HQ NRDC-ESP

The meeting served as a forum to discuss issues with regard to NRF future commitments. For the 2016 NRF rotation (01 ENE – 31 DIC 16)., NRDC-ESP will assume the Land Component Command of this force that will be led by JFC BS

 

The NRF 16 will be trained and certified during Trident Juncture 15 (TRJE 15) exercise. This very complex exercise will have two pases. The first one will be dedicated to the certification of the NRF 16 while the second one has been designed as a highly visible exercise to implement the NATO Force Connected Initiative. TRJE 15 will be execute simultaneously in Portugal, Italy and Spain in October November  2015.

 

The new concept of a Very High Readiness Joint Task Force Headquarters (VJTF HQ) that emerged in Wales Summit was also discussed during the meeting.
