  • INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF MILITARY ACADEMIES

    Is an international forum of debate dealing with topics related to different aspects the Military Academies have to face, including their cadets’ training and education. In this forum Military Academies together with officers, professors and researchers from different institutions related to military people’s training worldwide are involved.

     The main objectives to be reached in the different symposiums are as follows:

    • Building an international cooperation system between Military Academies.
    • Conceiving exchange and cooperation programs between Military Academies.
    • Exchanging valuable information about progress in Military Academies.
    The subject of previous symposium were:
    • 2007: 1st ISoDoMA (SOUTH KOREA -KMA-). “THE CHANGING ENVIRONMENT OF FUTURE EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION FOR MILITARY ACADEMIES”
    • 2009: 2nd; ISoDoMA (FRANCE -SAINT CYR-). “IRREGULAR WARFARE TRAINING FOR OFFICERS”
    • 2011: 3th; ISoDoMA (COLOMBIA -ESMIC-). “CHALLENGES FOR MILITARY ACADEMIES IN THE TRAINING OF 21th CENTURY OFFICERS”
    • 2013: XXVII HAWARNGDAE SYMPOSIUM (SOUTH COREA -KMA-). “LEADERSHIP FOR MILITARY OFFICERS, THEORIES, APLICATIONS AND NEW PERSPECTIVES”
