A castle with an oak and a laurel, a replica of the Engineer Arm emblem, has greeted the ships that arrive at Spain quay in Ceuta since 24th May, the date when the monument was unveiled.

This monument has been presented by the 7th Engineer Regiment to the autonomous city’s Port Authority in gratitude and commemoration for the numerous collaborations between both institutions since 1910.

The fine understanding between them will again become evident on 30th May next when the Port Authority presents the Regiment with a new Colour on the occasion of the celebration of the festivity of Saint Ferdinand, patron saint of the Engineers.
