The Army Medical Corps celebrated the day of its patron, the virgin of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, with various military events and parades throughout Spain.

General Juan E. Aparicio, commander of the Operational Logistics Force, accompanied by physician General Juan Rey, commander of the Medical Brigade, as well as various civilian and military authorities, as well as guest personnel, presided over the events held on 27th June on Base "General Cavalcanti", in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid), Medical Brigade headquarters. During the course of the celebration, medals awarded during the on-going year were presented to Brigade personnel. Subsequently, General Juan Rey, in his address, highlighted the achievements attained by this military unit.

Participating in the military parade were members of the various Medical Brigade units garrisoned in Madrid, as well as a company from the 11th Logistic Support Group, based in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid).
