Afghan commissioned officers in the 'Extremadura'

About 20 officers of the Afghan Army visited, the 21st of February, the 11th Brigade "Extremadura", where they attended to a presentation about the organization and current situation of the unit, and they carried out a route through the facilities of the base "General Menacho" of Bótoa (Badajoz).

This activity forms part of the programme of the 11th course of Hight Defense Studies for Afghan Commissioned Officers, which is organized by the Superior Centre of National Defense Studies.

During their visit to the Brigade, the Afghan soldiers had the opportunity of knowing, in a deeper way, the materials of the military-issue weapons, their classrooms of simulators, their maintenance garages of the tank combat vehicles "Leopardo" and infantry fighting vehicles "Pizarro", and to interact directly with the crews in order to know by first hand their characteristics and capacities.
