The Association of Support to the Unmanned Aerial Systems had a meeting in Madrid and Toledo

The 9th Meeting of the Association of Support to the Unmanned Aerial Systems' Committee (UAS SPCE) has been celebrated, from the 17th to the 19th of April, in Madrid and Toledo, due to the fact that Spain is the hostess for this event, inside the frame of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).

The meeting was organised by the NSPA, the Section of International Link and Duties Rights (SEIDA in Spanish) belonging to the Department of Economic Affairs of the Spanish Army's Command of Logistic Support (MALE in Spanish). It was also supported by the Sections of the Aerial Platforms and Maintenance Outsourcing, of the MALE Acquisition Head.

Among the activities programmed during these three meeting days, it must be mentioned the demonstration of real flight of an UAV RAVEN, the 18th of April, in "Los Alijares" Manoeuvres Field (Toledo), being supported by the 6th "Almogávares" Brigade. It was also conducted a visit through the facilitites of the National Institute of Aerospace Technique (INTA), the 19th in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid), where the NSPA delegations and the nations participating in the Committee visited the Astrobiology Centre, the test bench of aviation turbines and the hangars where the INTA carries out its research and development of the different UAS, such as MILANO, DIANA or ALO. Furthermore, during three days, it was visited the Naval Museum in Madrid and the Army Museum and the Infantry Academy in Toleado, where it was celebrated one of the meetings planned in the agenda.
