Medical personnel from the Field Hospital Group (AGRUHOC by its Spanish acronym) have been deployed since 3 October in line with the Nation Host plan devised by the Operational Logistic Force and implemented by Medical Brigade HQ. It is the unit’s contribution to the multinational exercise Trident Juncture 15.

During the CPX phase of the exercise, nurses and other medical personnel from AGRUHOC are being deployed as RW ME (Rotary Wing Medical Evacuation) teams at the air bases in Zaragoza and Los Llanos (Albacete).

From 19 October, during the LIVEX phase, medical officers from the unit and others from the Combat Branches General Corps will be deployed as members of the different PECCs (Patient Evacuation Coordination Centres) at the San Gregorio and Chinchilla training centres. In addition, personnel from the Álvarez de Sotomayor training field and firing range (Almería) will also be deployed as Medical Unit in order to provide Host Nation medical support.
